Spring 2021 online forum: Australia and New Zealand
On Friday 26 March 2021, Rotamap hosted its first online forum for current and prospective users of CLWRota and Medirota in Australia and New Zealand. The forum included talks from the Rotamap team and 3 guest speakers.

October 2019 benchmarks
The October 2019 benchmarks were sent out in advance of our Autumn 2019 event at Farmers and Fletchers in London. The benchmarking packs are compiled according to the report settings configuration in CLWRota and Medirota. NHSi's Workforce Plans: briefing notes
In November 2018 NHS Improvement announced plans to develop required standards for NHS workforce deployment systems focusing on the requirements for electronic rostering, job planning, junior doctor and staff agency services. This document summarises the current status of NHSi's plans and Rotamap's views, as a specialist provider of electronic rostering services for doctors.

At our our Autumn 2018 event at the Stanley Building by King's Cross in Central London, Jacob Kirk presented an analysis based on Rotamap's system Service Reports. The talk focused on how heatmaps, p-charts and other visualisations of department data can help provide insights for improving department performance through reducing variation.

At our Autumn event at Birmingham new Medirota benchmarks were presented and discussed. These new benchmarks looked at the differences between theatre and clinic delivery across surgical specialties.

March 2015 benchmarks
The March 2015 benchmarks were presented at the 2015 Rotamap event held at the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) in central London on 20 March 2015. Ollie Fielding from Rotamap presented his Good Department Checklist and 5 Department Comparison benchmark-related talks at this event.
September 2014 benchmarks
The latest set of benchmarks were presented at the 2014 CLWRota Forum in the Battlebridge Room at King's Place, Central London on 19 September 2014. The benchmarks were presented by Dr Mark Cox of Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and Dr Jason Wilson of Imperial College Healthcare.
CLWRota good department checklist
As part of our Rotamap event in March 2015 we put forward a checklist to outline some of the valuable measures a department could use to gauge its efficiency by taking closer look at five departments who have improved their service using different approaches and what they were doing differently to make their service more efficient.
March 2014 benchmarks
The latest set of benchmarks were presented at the 2014 Training & Management Day event in the Battlebridge Room at King's Place, Central London on 20 March 2014. Along with some new analysis of solo activity split between junior and senior trainee grades, two year benchmark data for departments with the requisite historical information were also shown.
September 2013 benchmarks
The latest set of benchmarks were presented at the 2013 Annual Forum event in the Battlebridge Room at King's Place, Central London on 19 September 2013. Among the new developments in how department data can be analysed were a series of graphs comparing expected numbers of departmental sessions with the number of sessions delivered.
March 2013 benchmarks
The March 2013 benchmarks were presented at the March 2013 Training & Management Day, held at the Battlebridge Room at King's Place. Apart from presenting the expanded set of measures first released at the September 2012 forum, we introduced a new standard deviation curve of individual productivity rates for discussion.
September 2012 benchmarks
The September 2012 benchmarks were presented at the September 2012 Forum held at the Wellcome Collection in central London. We took data from the newly released Rota Management Console (RotaMC) and introduced some new statistical measures including the use of P-charts and funnel plots.

The March 2012 benchmarks were presented at the 2012 Training & Management day, held at the Wellcome Collection in Central London.
The second presentation of benchmarks was made at the September 2011 Forum, following an initial introductory discussion of some initial benchmarks at the inaugural 2011 Training & Management event. Sixteen departments were included in the analysis.
