Upcoming Mobile app updates

We'll be releasing a new version of our Medirota and CLWRota iOS and Android mobile apps in the near future. The update will include an updated login flow and complete redesign of the user interface, bringing a more modern and up to date feel to the mobile app.

When the app update is available for download you will be informed via notifications in the current version of the mobile app and on the website versions of Medirota and CLWRota. To update please visit the Google Play Store for Android or the Apple App Store for iPhone.

Minimum operating system requirements

Our upcoming mobile app update will require users to meet the following minimum operating system requirements:

  • iOS 18 and above
  • Android 14 and above

Most modern devices are compatible with the above operating systems, however, some older models including the iPhone X and older and Android phones released before 2019 may not be compatible. You can check your device's operating system as follows:

iPhone

  1. Open the settings app on your Home Screen or in your App Library
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap About
  4. View iOS Version: Your current operating system version will be listed next to the iOS Version field

Android

  1. Open the settings app
  2. Tap 'About phone'
  3. Tap 'Software information' to view your current operating system version

If your device is compatible with the minimum operating system requirements but is currently on a lower version, you will need to update your operating system in order to download the mobile app update when available.

We will continue to support the current version of the mobile app for a short period of time following the release of the update. After this period the current version will no longer be supported. Users who have not updated their device's operating system to meet the mimum iOS and Android requirements and users who have a device which is not compatible with the minimum requirements will be required to access their CLWRota or Medirota accounts via their mobile app web browser instead.

If you have questions about the upcoming mobile app update please get in contact with the Rotamap support team at support@rotamap.net or +44 (0) 20 7631 1555.

Accessing the Mobile apps

When opening the app for the first time, you will reach a login page. The "server" is the URL you use to access the full CLWRota or Medirota website appended with "/app". For instance, for "demo.clwrota.com" the server would be "demo.clwrota.com/app". Your CLWRota or Medirota username and password remain the same.
