Introduction

CLWRota and Medirota reporting features can be configured to ensure that data inputs are organised in a way that reflects reality.

The tabs below provide a simple guide to configuring the reporting settings relevant to department Service Reports and Benchmarking graphs.

CLWRota reports configuration

To configure the CLWRota data for Service Reports and Benchmarks you will need to go to the Rota Management Console (RotaMC) under the Reports tab. Please note that not all Rota Masters have access to this option on the Reports menu. If you cannot see this option and you would like to, please let us know.

Once in RotaMC, clicking on the 'Config' tab will take you to the following page:

Here you can configure the information which will affect the graphs that make up a Service Report:

  • Planned / Unplanned Leave
  • Study Leave
  • Solo sessions
  • Extra types

Leave can be configured into Planned, Unplanned, Study and Normal Activity. Planned and Unplanned leave data is used in the Service Reports and Benchmarking packs.

Middle Grade configuration allows departments to determine which sessions on the rota would have been worked as Solo sessions. If you select someone to be a Middle Grade then their sessions worked without a Consultant will not be included as a Solo session.

The Extra types settings page allows you to distinguish between Extra types that represent a clear additional cost to the department and those that represent planned DCC activity that has been shifted to a different time (e.g. time off in lieu). Extra types can be edited from the Super User login. If you do not have Super User access (this is different from Rota Master access) please contact us at support@rotamap.net.

Medirota reports configuration

The data that you see on your Medirota Service Reports and Benchmarking packs can be configured by going to the Admin tab > Report Settings.

On there you will be able to review and update all your report settings for:

  • Activities
  • Roles
  • Leave
  • Extras

Leave can be configured into Planned, Unplanned and Study. Planned and Unplanned leave data is used in Service Reports and Benchmarking packs.

The Service Reports and Benchmarking packs will only include data for Roles that have been marked as Consultant.

If you have any questions while you are configuring your Medirota report settings, please let us know.
