Flexi improvements feature released for CLWRota and Medirota

Flexi improvements allow departments to better accommodate flexible job plans and working patterns.

Flexi in CLWRota

Flexi improvements includes updates to Flexi in Year (FIY) and Flexi in Week (FIW), improving the way that consultants' flexible availability and expectation for work are managed, and the way that they can be assigned to locations as working flexibly.

Rota masters can now set a consultant's flexible working availability set according to a repeating pattern that could be a number of weeks, months, or on a yearly basis. Adjustments can now be made to individual sets of flexible availability without affecting other availability sets.

The expectation of work that they must deliver flexibly is tied to the same discrete period of time as the repeating availability set, and positive and negative adjustments can be made to individual expectation sets in the same way as to their availability.

A consultant's flexible working can be adjusted and viewed from a popup within the new FIY and FIW locations on the main Rota page, or via their flexi settings found under the "People" tab.

Both a consultant's availability and expectation for delivery can be accounted for in hours, PAs, or sessions.

Flexi in CLWRota is available for consultants only.

Flexi in Medirota

Flexi improvements is a new release for Medirota, which will improve the way that clinicians can be rostered to flexible working patterns. It is comprised of Flexi in Year (FIY) and Flexi in Week (FIW).

FIY and FIW available are new default activities on the rota page where clinicians can now be templated, according to their flexible working patterns. Once they have FIY or FIW availability they can be assigned to cover demand elsewhere on the rota.
